Fourth post: LOOK! In drugstores…gud by Burt’s Bee’s body lotion in Orange Petalooza
It should be no surprise that I like lotion, since I have already done a review on a lotion the other day on one I just tried. I was at my local Walgreens where I got to see my favorite beauty salesperson working and she was telling me about a product that I was inquiring about. I was done talking to her, and then I look to my left and saw this new lotion by gud. It is a new brand that is by Burt’s Bees. I was intrigued. So, I open up the vanilla scent to smell it. There was no tester, and she said I was welcome to test a small amount so I did. I rubbed it onto my hand, and let the scent sink in. I loved the consistency almost immediately, but the scent of it…was just not agreeing with me. She had told me to try out the blood orange scent. Now, normally I am not the biggest fan of citrus scents. I am more of a vanilla scent gal. Oh, wow…WOW! I loved the scent! LOVED it!! The consistency in this one is also perfect. It immediately sinks in your skin to give you such smooth skin. The associate then asked me if I had ever eaten a blood orange and I said ‘I never have’ and she had said whenever you get the chance…please do, they are delicious. Back to my review…it is now day two of me having the lotion and I just took a shower and then let myself dry off, and then I applied the lotion. I feel the same way. It is love. If you are a fan of citrus…and you have a Walgreens nearby, don’t walk…but RUN. Get this lotion. I highly recommend it.

My third post: My favorite perfume at the moment
After a couple times of going to Sephora around the fall of 2010, I knew I had wanted the perfume Acqua Di Gioia. So, for Christmas that year my husband and I decided that we’d pick out our gifts. Not as much fun as opening the actual gift on Christmas morning, but hey. So…yes, I got me a 1 oz of Acqua Di Gioia of course. It is LOVE ok? Love, LOVE it! I am not the best at describing scents, but in my best description it is sort of clean smelling and just so amazing smelling. I have gotten loads of compliments too. My hubby actually loves when I wear this, because he’ll say “Mmmm…you smell good! Or, when I’ve gone to my local bank the teller that is handling my transaction will tell me ‘girl, what perfume is that?’ ‘I REALLY like it!’ She’s complimented me on a couple scents I wear, actually. I would say that IF you are someone who really likes clean smelling scents to give this one a try. Hopefully you will like it as much as I do J

My second post: An old favorite body cream and a new favorite lotion
My first review is about a scented body cream that has been out for quite some time. This lotion can be bought at Bath and Body Works. The scent of this body cream is Black Amethyst. It is the Black Amethyst Triple Moisture Body Cream. Truth be told that when this scent came out in the fall of 2008, I did not like this scent when I first smelled it but I kept wearing this sample that I had gotten in an order back then and the scent just grew on me. I started to love it, and so did my husband. It is not like any of the scents that I’ve seen come out of Bath and Body Works. Most of the scents that come out are fruity or are fruity/floral. The scent of this is hard to describe. To me, it smells like a very sophisticated scent. When I don’t want to wear one of my perfumes this is what I wear instead. This scent is also a good one to wear in the fall and winter months. It is a very warm and cozy smelling scent. I hope you will give it a try! I love it!
A new favorite body lotion is one by Kiss My Face. Kiss My Face is an organic brand. I got this lotion in the mail with several other trial sizes products to try them out because I had heard nothing but great things about them. I had always seen them in the stores, but believed they were somewhat pricey. So, when I found a deal on hip2save.com to save me $15 off on an order, and all I had to pay was the price of shipping I was sold! Onto my review…the lotion scent is lavender and Shea. First of all, the lavender in this lotion is not overpowering in the slightest because if it was I wouldn’t have been able to use it because lavender is much too herbal on its own. It is a very pleasant scent. I have used this lotion about two to three times, and this lotion doesn’t feel greasy on my skin. Right when I apply it to my skin, it sinks in nearly immediately. I absolutely love it, and I hope you will give it a try

My first post: Hello & welcome all :)
Hi all, my name is Olivia. I am a 30 year old female living in a town outside of Houston with my sweet hubby of almost 7 years. I attend college, part time at DeVry University where I am majoring in Hospitality Management. I have always been told that I am a 'people-person', and well...that is no lie as I can pretty much get along with anyone. I also like to help people, and I believe that just goes hand in hand with what I am majoring in.
For work I am a part time product demonstrator. I am the person that demonstrates products, mainly foods in my case, and passes them out. AKA- 'the sample lady'.
In this blog I plan to feature beauty reviews. An interest of mine is beauty products, and what better way to broaden my interest than to write about them. I hope that you will not only like what I have to say, BUT also hopefully subscribe to my blog.
I hope you all have a wonderful day & that this year is treating both you and your loved ones great :)
